We live in Carlisle Township in Ohio and are happy to have shared our space with our beloved German Shorthair Pointers (GSP’s) for more than 20 years. We admire GSP’s for their intelligence, eagerness to please, and even temperament. Our GSP’s have enjoyed success while competing in conformation, field trials, hunt tests, obedience, rally, agility, dock diving and fast cat. They have been ranked among the top 10 in the AKC for field trials, and the top 10 in both the AKC and GSPCA for obedience, and rally. They are willing to give their all in any activity, but they are also happy to snuggle with their favorite person when the games are done for the day.

Every responsible GSP owner’s ideal is to improve and preserve the breed. To further this goal, we've considered many health tested and proven potential mates for our GSP girls.  An additional objective was that the sire has a family/line relationship with our girl’s lineage. Breeding closely related dogs results in substantial homozygous gene pairs, ensuring consistent traits in the offspring.

We plan to breed Riva, Baerenbach Maid of Mischief in early 2026. Riva is a great-granddaughter of Josh, CH Crystal’s Up Close and Personal MH ROMXX, a celebrated GSPCA Hall of Fame recipient on both sides of her pedigree; Through Josh, Riva is directly related to Sam Saint Max, another legendary GSPCA Hall of Fame member. Her pedigree also include Chief, BISS NSC CH Lieblinghaus Chief Executive CD, also a GSPCA Hall of Fame recipient and a GSPCA ROMXX. We expect R will produce versatile and talented puppies who look stunning while excelling in the activities asked of them.
